pestana chelsea bridge hotel & spa "we've stayed before. the breakfast was great, service staff at breakfast were very helpful. easy check-in, the room was great. lovely helpful staff in general. the only issue we had was at the bar in the evening, we came home after a show and thought it would be nice to have a drink. my mother ordered a white wine, this was served to her warm, when we asked for a cold glass they offered ice to put in the wine, i was shocked this was suggested. my mother was horrified, she worked as a wine merchant for years. she wasn't offered an alternative option. she suggested they put it in an ice bucket to chill it. which they did do but what should have been a pleasant easy drink at the end of an evening wasn't. i'd expect much better from a hotel of this standard. white wine should be served cold not room temperature. i asked for an apperol spritz off the menu to be told they had no pressecco on a friday night that's not good enough." us$103 detail ➡
