holiday inn express edinburgh - royal mile by ihg "i don't know why hotels in edinburgh are so incredibly expensive! but then again, high prices are pretty much the norm in edinburgh. overall, this hotel was quite comfortable and its location was excellent. it's within walking distance of the station and all the main attractions. there's a small, quiet church next door, which made for peaceful evenings. the front desk staff were super helpful; they first checked if we could check in early, and when that wasn't possible, they offered complimentary luggage storage so we could go explore before coming back. that was a really nice touch. the breakfast was also quite substantial." us$260 detail ➡
