though the hotel was found sandwiched between two other building, it stood out due to it's small build making it easy to find. entering the hotel, we were greeted with a very beautifully lobby area which was furnished with modern and contemporary furniture. there were two imacs available for use and even a piano, which i was very much tempted to play but my next to zero instrumental skills prevented me. we were briskly checked in and showed to our room by the efficient, if not so friendly, staffs there. we weren't exactly shocked by the size of the room, having done our research prior to booking the room. in fact, i actually felt that it was better than i'd expected it to be! it would've been very annoying to move around if we had brought big luggages but we were only travelling with backpacks so it wasn't really much of a hassle for us! besides, when you're in hong kong you wouldn't be staying in that much since there's lots to do. aside from that, i actually like the fact that the toilet had clear glass walls. it allowed me to watch the telly, not that there was anything to watch actually considering the limited channels they have, and go about my big business all at the same time. also, toiletries was not provided but can be easily bought from a dispenser at the ground floor, overall, we're really satisfied with our stay there. it was a really nice hotel with an affordable price. unless you really don't enjoy small spaces i'm pretty sure you'll like the place! well, we definitely did and wouldn't mind coming back if i were to visit hong kong again!" show more 7.1 very good 18362 reviews avg price per night ₪ 227 check availability see all harbour plaza north point quarry bay,hong kong - view on map free wi-fi swimming pool car park +5 "it was our first time in hong kong so we decided to get a 4 star hotel. after arriving at hong kong airport it took us a few minutes to find the harbour center counter, but after we found it, we felt taken care of already. cost us hkd$140 each for the airport shuttle to the hotel, it was a fairly large bus, and it only seated a few of us. this is where we learned that the airport shuttle caters to other hotels too. think of it this way, if you have large bags or luggage, a few bucks is worth it when going to and from the airport because you are going to walk a lot. my bag was a large duffle and it was 24 lbs. and i was so grateful i opted for the shuttle going to and from the airport. plus, you get to see hong kong more from the bus, unlike when you take the train which goes into the subway after the first 5-6 stations. when we arrived at the hotel, check in was a breeze, they just get the impression of my card and thats it, there was someone who helped us get our things from the bus to the check in counter then from the check-in counter to our room. but be sure to give a separate tip to the one who carries your bag from the bus to the hotel, because it will be a different person who will bring your bags up. the room was quite big/clean compared to other hotels our friends stayed at. their's were around 21 sq mts, ours was about 28 sq mts. they were complaining that they had traffic going to and from their bathrooms, while we were comfortable in a king sized bed, we had a stocked mini ref and we had cable. only problem is internet costed around a hk$100/day. we only stayed at the hotel to sleep and bathe mostly, but we would've loved to use the gym and the pool. both were clean and complete. maybe because there are monthly tenants staying at the serviced suites of the hotel. they had a sauna but i didn't get to use it. my girlfriend was able to use the pool, her only complaint was that it wasn't heated. we are coming back, soon.
