blowing rock inn2.5 out of 5 price was $519, price is now $411 per person $411 per person aug 28 - aug 31 found 1 day ago roundtrip flight included tampa (tpa) to asheville (avl) stay at this motel in blowing rock. enjoy free wifi, free parking, and daily housekeeping. our guests praise the helpful staff and the clean rooms in our reviews. popular attractions tweetsie railroad and benson hollow are located nearby. the bed was very comfy. the tv was the largest i've seen in a hotel/motel/inn. the air conditioning was awkward; it was an inside unit, but you had to set it on cool or warm, so there was no just setting the temp and forgetting about it. the bath room was nice, but the toilet was running when we entered the room, and i had to take the lid off and reset the fitting. it looked very old, and it never sealed enough to not need to refill every 20 minutes. it woke me up several times. the bathroom was also very cold, as it was in the 20s the night we stayed i believe. the manager at check in was very nice, but it was of to need to check into a different property. i would stay again, but fix that toilet! reviewed on dec 18, 2024
