(1,003 reviews) our stay was very good, and we’d come again. staff all very helpful. food is good. slightly more choice and pizza available every night would suit us better, but we still enjoyed what we ate. the rooms and general aesthetic of the hotel have a nice retro vibe. it’s quirky, fun and interesting. big open dining, lounge, bar, reception and games area is cozy and laid-back. enjoyed free pool table and arcade machines especially. pool and sauna handy too. some buses at useful times go to and from the hotel itself, otherwise 10 minute walk. bus usually takes around 25 minutes to get into chamonix, but it’s a nice journey. not too much in immediate vicinity (shops, restaurants etc) but it’s quiet, relaxing and the buses made getting about easy. reviewed on aug 25, 2025
