(1,003 reviews) this was our first visit/stay in vail. we aren't skiers, but i saw vail is supposed to be a faux europe, so i wanted to see for myself. i would say it's pulled off pretty well. long time businesses are here and it adds an authenticity. everything in our room worked properly, nice bed & shower. lots of walkability from the space. i went to the betty ford alpine garden and read all the plaques, that is my idea of a good time! still an impressive display covered in snow. i learned a lot and loved it. reviewed on dec 15, 2025
